" ... history at her fingertips"

Love this profile of one of the San Diego Historical Society's transcribers in the Union Tribune today.. Louhelen Hassan, 77, volunteers 5-6 days per week, listening to old interviews, radio shows and other spoken word pieces and typing out a transcription that will eventually land in the Historical Society's online archives.

We will be launching similar pieces, profiles and "people in the park" features on the new www.balboapark.org website soon.
