Longing to visit the Irish countryside, but can't afford a plane ticket across the pond and won't dare venture into the Gaslamp Quarter for the annual green beer debacle next month? Then head up to Balboa Park's Museum of Man Thursday, February 25th for their "Tower After Hours" event, celebrating Irish food, culture and music.
The museum will hold special hours from 6-8pm Thursday night and feature a taste of all things Irish, including regional Irish cuisine and Guinness Beer. Dozens of Irish musicians and dancers will perform on stage below the 100-foot rotunda and share their rich cultural heritage. Families and kids of all ages are welcome, and all of the museums regular exhibit spaces will be open during the event.
