Get into the groove of a 2,000 year-old Chinese Tradition this weekend in Balboa Park, as the Mingei International Museum celebrates the culmination of a 15-day, tradition Lantern Festival. The Museum is pulling out all the stops for this Saturday's festival (presented in conjunction with the exhibit Fifty-Six Chinese Hat Boxes -- and One Hat!), offering cultural history lessons, performances, hands-on stations where you can make your own paper lanterns, and a huge parade at the end of the day.
